Opening hours
Flour is our passion. As an important pillar of our social commitment, we have taken it upon ourselves to tell the fascinating cultural history of flour, at no cost to you during regular opening hours.
Year-roundEvery Sunday 12 - 5 pm
May to OctoberIn addition to the normal Sunday opening hours:
Every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month 12 - 5 pm
Closed on public holidays.
Special opening hoursFor the Wittenberg Christmas Market on 12 and 13 December 2020 we will be open not just on Sunday, but also on Saturday from 12 - 5 pm.
We are also happy to do special tours.

Colour illustrations of nearly all the sacks in the FlourWorld Museum Wittenburg and interesting background information on the subject of flour – the book “flour art museum – a Worldwide Gallery of Flour Sacks” is an exhibition catalogue and makes fascinating reading about flour too. The partner initiative of the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve is part of the German partner network National Natural Landscapes. The latter is coordinated by EUROPARC Deutschland, the umbrella organization of the protected areas (national parks, biosphere reserves and nature parks) in Germany. There are already over 800 national park, biosphere reserve and nature park partners in 22 natural landscapes in Germany.
